1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing getunplated.com or placing an order with UNPLATED, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. About Our Products

All UNPLATED jewellery is crafted from solid gold (9K or 14K as stated on each product listing). We do not sell gold-plated or gold-filled jewellery. Each piece is BIS hallmarked in accordance with Indian standards.

Product images are as accurate as photography allows. Slight variations in texture, tone, or finish may occur between pieces due to the handcrafted nature of our work — these are not defects.

Gemstone colours may vary slightly from screen to screen. If you have questions about a specific piece before purchasing, please get in touch.

3. Made-to-Order Policy

Every UNPLATED piece is made to order. We do not hold finished inventory. This means:

  • Production begins shortly after your order is confirmed
  • Delivery typically takes 10–14 working days from the date of order
  • During peak periods or sale events, timelines may extend — we will communicate any delays

Because each piece is made specifically for you, cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of placing your order. After this window, production will have begun and cancellations cannot be processed.

4. Pricing & Payments

All prices displayed on getunplated.com are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.

We accept payments via Razorpay, which supports UPI, net banking, debit and credit cards, and EMI options. Payment must be completed at the time of order — we do not hold items without payment.

In the event of a pricing error on our website, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund. We will notify you if this occurs.

Gold prices can fluctuate. The price you pay at checkout is locked in at that moment and will not change after your order is confirmed.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Free shipping is available on all orders above ₹9,000
  • Orders below ₹9,000 are subject to a standard shipping charge calculated at checkout
  • We ship across India via reputable courier partners
  • A tracking link will be shared once your order is dispatched
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, natural events, strikes, or other circumstances beyond our control
  • Risk of loss passes to you upon handover to the courier. Please inspect your package on delivery and report any damage immediately

We do not currently offer international shipping.

6. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Because all pieces are made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind. We do accept exchanges or issue store credit in the following circumstances:

  • The item arrives damaged or defective
  • The item delivered is materially different from what was ordered

Personalised or engraved pieces are non-returnable and non-exchangeable under any circumstances except manufacturing defect.

7. Custom & Personalised Orders

Custom orders — including personalised engravings, bespoke sizing, or made-to-specification pieces — are final sale. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on custom work once production has begun.

Please double-check all personalisation details (spelling, dates, sizes) before submitting your order. We will produce exactly what is specified at checkout and are not responsible for errors in information provided by the customer.

8. Warranties

All UNPLATED pieces come with a 6-month manufacturing warranty covering defects in craftsmanship. This does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by improper care, chemicals, or physical impact
  • Loss or theft
  • Resizing or alterations carried out by a third party

To make a warranty claim, please contact us with your order number and photographs of the issue.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on getunplated.com — including designs, photography, copy, logos, and brand assets — is the property of UNPLATED and protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent. Sharing our content for personal, non-commercial purposes (such as on social media with credit) is welcome.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UNPLATED's liability for any claim arising from your use of our products or website is limited to the value of the order in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

We make no warranties that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Use of the site is at your own risk.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of UNPLATED's products or services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
